The Trompo Mágico Interactive Museum, belonging to the Government of Jalisco, is a youthful space which opened its doors to the public on April 30, 2003 in the city of Zapopan. The contemplation, interaction, science and technology are present in its enriched areas with a pedagogical fundament which makes the museum outstand on a national level.

The objective of the museum’s educational project is to consolidate itself as a complementary activity to formal education: in each area and activity a thirst for knowledge and awareness of the arts is encouraged. We seek to instill curiosity through responsible experimentation and the promotion of arts and crafts from all over the world, through innovating displays.

Through its workshops, interactive exhibits, software, conferences and many other activities, the Trompo Mágico is determined to be a dynamic and flexible space, taking into consideration young people and their local needs, a place where they can take part in social, ecologic and historical progress, while becoming active citizens.

Jalisco, “the most gracious of the Mexican provinces” according to writer and great thinker, José Vasconcelos, is proud to have this beautiful, blissful and open education community.
